* Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
* Spread the dry mix on baking sheet and toast for 15 minutes.
* Prepare a 9x13 casserole by lightly greasing with butter then lining it with
parchment paper. The parchment paper should come up the sides of the dish
about 2 inches.

* In a small pot mix together....
2 Tbs. Butter
3/4cup honey
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/8 tsp. Salt (optional)

* Heat the wet ingredients on medium. When it comes to a boil stir constantly for
1 minute while the syrup thickens.
* Remove from heat and stir in 1/3 cup nut butter of your choice. This is optional.
* Mix together the toasted blend, the dried fruit and the wet ingredients in a large
bowl.

* Spread the granola bar mix in the prepared dish evenly. Place another sheet of
parchment paper on top, place a book on top of the dish and press down HARD.
Press Press Press. Make sure you press into the corners.

* Bake in the 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. (The parchment paper is fine; it
protects the fruit from drying out.)
* Remove from the oven and peel off the top parchment paper.

* Let the Sweet Chow Granola Bars cool completely.
* Remove the bars by lifting the edges of the parchment paper that lined the
casserole dish. Place on a cutting board upside down, and peel off the paper.

* Cut into desired size squares and store in an airtight container, in the
refrigerator or freezer. Makes approximately 18 bars.
